The Pistenbully Experience
They are the giants of the ski slopes!
The Pistenbully snow groomers move over the slopes with a fascinating blend of elegance, precision and astonishing power.
Have you always wanted to experience a Pistenbully first hand, to watch the drivers as they transform the slopes into immaculately groomed carpets of pristine white snow?
Well, now’s your chance! We can arrange for you to experience the thrill of riding up and down the steepest slopes in one of these mighty track vehicles.
Information:
- Wear warm clothes and sturdy footwear (no ski boots)
- Starting point is the Gerlosstein base station where the cable-car will take you up to the ski area (last ascent at 4.30 pm)
- “YOUR” Pistenbully snow groomer will be ready and waiting for you at the top station
- Duration: approx. 2 hours
- You can return to the base station either using the cable car (from 7.45 pm onwards), or, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can finish off with an exhilarating toboggan run back down.
Price:
2 hours as a passenger in a Pistenbully snow groomer, including ascent and descent with the Gerlosstein cable car: € 49
We would like to point out that the snowcat driver needs to focus on his work and not always available for information!
